Katherine is currently seeking representation for her debut novel.

Inspired by a real female Indiana Jones, THE SECRET MAP OF FREYA STARK tells the hidden story of the treasure hunt that turned a WWI nurse into one of the great explorers of the 20th century.

​

The first three chapters of The Secret Map of Freya Stark were short-listed in the Historical Novel Society's First Chapters Competition, seeking the best novel openings among published and unpublished writers. 

 

Since June 2024, Katherine has served as the lead of the 300+ person Chesapeake Chapter of the Historical Novel Society.
